Days like this are extra special in Hokkaido, Japan☀️
Early February provided excellent weather and consistent snowfall in Hokkaido.

A bluebird day in Niseko is rare, but two back-to-back is almost unheard of. I took full advantage of the weather and skied every bit of powder I could lay my eyes on. You just never know when or if you'll get another day like these two again.

Ever wondered what skiing in Japan is like over an entire winter season?

Follow my journey as an Australian moving overseas to ski in Japan at the world-famous powder snow capital, Niseko United. This ski trip would be my second full season in a row and my previous experience at this resort would lead me to finding the best and deepest powder that Niseko has to offer.

From daily antics to skiing the dry, blower powder Niseko is known for, this ski vlog series follows the entire winter of 2023-2024. I spent my time living close by to Niseko Hanazono ski resort, one of the best ski resorts in Japan. Watch my journey skiing in Niseko off piste, on groomers, in resort-accessed sidecountry and out in the backcountry of Hokkaido.

With previous Niseko, Japan ski trips and the entire winter season last year under my belt, this winter season was shaping up to be the best skiing of my entire life. Everything I had learned was going to be put to the test.
