River City Ransom EX - Ryan Solo Run

Not only was it recently the anniversary of the Game Boy Advance, but this game's anniversary is on the 25th!

I've been super nostalgic for the Kunio games lately, so I figured I'd channel that into another playthrough!

The EX port of this game for the GBA is an interesting one: there's quite a few new side stories that can occur depending on how you play, and most of them feature characters who appear in the other Downtown games, notably characters from Baseball Monogatari and Daiundoukai. It's also cool being able to recruit certain bosses, and forming an even bigger alliance to take down the final boss.

For this run, I've chosen to do Riki (Ryan) only to showcase some of the unique stuff that can happen when Kunio (Alex) isn't around. It's pretty neat how the game's dialogue completely changes based on how you play, and who you're playing as.
