This 1964 Chevrolet Nova Station Wagon is available in our Louisville KY showroom. If you grew up in the 70’s, you probably remember taking a trip to the lake or the grandparents in the family station wagon. “Are we there yet” was usually the theme expressed by the children. Dad would usually reply somewhat annoyed with an adamant “NO”. Trips sure would have been a lot faster, if you had only had this form of rapid transit available in those days. The exterior of this bright White 1964 Nova Station Wagon has been kept clean and simple. The Flat Cap Rally wheels are a nice touch and are a great addition to the overall subtle looks of this cool old wagon. The blue interior also doesn’t give much away with the fresh vinyl seats and carpet. Then as you look a little closer, you notice a few thing not normally found in a 1964 Chevrolet Nova Wagon. The Hurst 4-speed shifter looks at home in the interior, but gives notice, that there may be more than just your normal factory inline 6 cylinder under the hood. Then there are the aftermarket gauges, an in dash Autometer Tachometer nestled between the factory speedometer and the factory gauges. There are two additional gauges mounted to the steering column, much like a rally pack option for a Mustang, which accurately monitor the oil pressure and the water temperature. Pop the hood, and now you see why the gauges are needed, and the car has been equipped with a 4-speed. Between the shock towers of this 1964 Nova Wagon is a 327 CID V-8 engine. Judging by the sound, it has just a little bit more than a factory cam. Under the Chrome Dual snorkel breather is a Holley Double pumper Carburetor to make sure this V-8 gets all the gas it needs. A set of Edelbrock headers take care of the spent gases, and they exit through a Flowmaster type dual exhaust. Trips to the lake, the Grandparents house, or just out to the local cruise scene will never be boring in this Nova Station Wagon.
