This natural, DIY body scrub exfoliates away dead skin, encourages circulation, and nourishes skin. It’s made with a blend of small & fine salt grains, so it’s not too harsh.

Vanilla Lime Salt Scrub Recipe (makes ~16 oz):
4 oz (112 g) small-grain salt
4 oz (112 g) fine-grain salt
1 oz (28 g) coconut oil (Cocos nucifera)
1 fl oz (30 ml) vanilla-infused jojoba oil (Simmondsia chinensis)
30 drops lime essential oil (Citrus aurantifolia)

Store in a PET plastic jar in your shower or bathroom. Dry your hand or use a spoon to scoop the body scrub (so you don’t get water in the jar), then gently massage over skin for exfoliation. Make sure to wipe down your shower afterward, so it’s not slippery the next time you step in.

We recommend using steam-distilled lime oil (not cold pressed), to avoid phototoxic concerns on the skin.
