Having fought their way through hordes of the Knights and their lackeys, Vid and Dub inevitably reached the top of Swag Mountain. Upon the peak rested a beautiful field, where mystical creatures swarmed and scuttled about, and the plant life flourish in spades. Upon consuming the Potion of Draconic Essence, the ancient Sacred Dragon snaked and slithered from the heavens, beyond the clouds, heralded by refreshing breezes and an ambient warmth that felt like a gentle embrace. Its silky scales and glowing tendrils illuminated every corner of the mountain. The Sacred Dragon saw the two alicorns and recognized that they were pure of heart and full of hope for everything. In this, it granted a most profound blessing to them, imbuing the wizard girls with a deep and tender magic. Vid and Dub now had everything they needed to confront Stinklebug.

The alicorns rested in the outpost city of Future Bastion, where mostly the veterans of Fairytail resided. Though the townspeople possessed no special potions or enchantments that could bolster the alicorns' power, the veterans prepared meals that have always nourished their sick and injured. A thick and hearty stew, sweet breads, and warm milk; a comforting and fulfilling spread for the fight ahead.
