How I make bottles

Описание к видео How I make bottles

In this video I wanted to share how I make bottles. This is the most time-efficient way I’ve come up with, and as a busy sahm to 5, it’s super important that I make the best use of my time!
I start the process at night, usually after I’ve tucked the kids in bed. I often am on dish duty, too, so I usually pop on a show and zone out.
I wash all the bottles and parts by hand, and then I pop into my Tommee Tippee sterilizer. After they’re sanitized, which only takes a few minutes, I put boiled water that’s still quite hot into my bottles. (This is a different guideline than when I had my other babies. The CDC says water should be 158 degrees Fahrenheit when you mix with powdered formula due to potential bacteria being present in the powder). Then I add my formula and stir with a fork, which I feel breaks up clumps without causing excess air bottles. I put all the bottles straight into the fridge without letting them cool, (again, CDC guidelines). As long as they go straight in the fridge, and baby’s mouth hasn’t been on them, the bottles are good for 24 hours. So I make sure I have an entire days worth of bottles so I only need to make them once a day.
Thank you for watching and let me know if you have any questions!
