Sun Outdoors Frontier Town Brings the Wild West to Berlin, Maryland | Get Out of Town

Laurita and Lauren step back in time with a visit to Sun Outdoors Frontier Town, a unique Western-themed campground in Berlin, Maryland. The Portees explore the 200-acre campground and enjoy a cozy deluxe cabin that brings the comfort of home to the great outdoors. The Western theme park opened in 1959 and was a destination for cowboys and cowgirls to perform shows for the public around Ocean City and Berlin, Maryland. In 1977, Frontier Town added a waterpark, which now boasts a lazy river and Maryland-themed slides. From horseback riding to grilling hot dogs by the cabin, it’s the perfect family getaway.
