#GadingSerpong is a township, 21 km west of Jakarta at #KelapaDua and Pagedangan, Tangerang Regency of Banten province in Indonesia. Total land area of this satellite city is about 1500 hectares, which was being first developed by PT Summarecon Agung as Summarecon #Serpong. In 1993, Keris Group in-cooperated with the development and the name was changed as Gading Serpong. Later #Paramount Land also joined the project. To accelerate development in 2004, partners of the project decided to develop the Gading Serpong region individually, with a share of approximately equal shares. Now the township is mainly divided into two parts as #SummareconSerpong and #ParamountSerpong. The township already has schools, universities and colleges, modern markets, sports and recreation clubs, golf courses and clubs, hotels, convention centres, and hospitals.

Transport
Gading Serpong has direct access to Jakarta-Merak Toll Road and Jakarta Outer Ring Road. TransJakarta operates feeder bus routes from the township to different areas of Jakarta. Serpong railway station and the adjacent #RawaBuntu station of Jakarta Commuter Rail is located close to the township.

Gading Serpong dulunya adalah sebuah kawasan permukiman seluas sekitar 1.500 hektar yang terletak di Kelapa Dua, Tangerang, Banten. Kawasan ini awalnya dikembangkan oleh Summarecon Agung dengan nama Summarecon Serpong. Pada tahun 1993, Keris Group bergabung untuk mengembangkan kawasan ini, sehingga namanya diubah menjadi Gading Serpong. Kemudian #ParamountLand juga ikut bergabung. Pada tahun 2004, untuk mempercepat pengembangan kawasan ini, ketiganya memutuskan untuk mengembangkan Gading Serpong sendiri-sendiri, dengan masing-masing pihak mendapat luas lahan yang setara. Kini kawasan ini utamanya terbagi menjadi dua bagian, yakni Summarecon Serpong dan Paramount Serpong. Kawasan inipun telah memiliki sekolah, kampus, pasar modern, klub olahraga dan rekreasi, klub dan lapangan golf, hotel, pusat pertemuan, dan rumah sakit.

Transportasi
Gading Serpong memiliki akses langsung ke Jalan Tol Jakarta-Merak dan Jalan Tol Lingkar Luar Jakarta. TransJakarta pun mengoperasikan bus pengumpan dari kawasan ini ke sejumlah kawasan di Jakarta.
