FULL RECIPE: Quick Pan-Fried Sea Bream

INGREDIENTS:

2-4 Whole Sea Bream (cleaned and washed)
Coarse Salt
1/2 cup Cornmeal
1/4 cup All-Purpose Flour
Vegetable Oil or Olive Oil (for frying)

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Clean and wash the sea bream thoroughly. Let it sit in coarse salt for about 1 hour to season and firm up.
2. In a shallow dish, mix the cornmeal and all-purpose flour.
3. Coat the fish thoroughly on all sides with the cornmeal/flour mixture.
4. Place your skillet (cast iron or regular frying pan) over high heat and let it get nice and hot before adding the oil. This is essential to prevent sticking!
5. Add oil to the hot pan, then gently lay the coated fish down.
6. Fry the fish on both sides until gorgeously golden brown and fully cooked through. Serve immediately.
