After 417 got by me, I decided to move, again. A lovely, warm day with this stupid, howling wind. Back to Chester Street in Mission, where the wind is much less noticeable. The only reason you don't hear it in the videos is the excellent wind sock I use called a Blimp, made by Rode, at a goodly expense, I might add. My eastbound catch here, is CP Train #112, a regular afternoon departure from CP's Coquitlam Yard. Stacks of cans (containers) headed to St. Luc Yard in Montreal. They'll be there in a couple of days.

Technical sidenote. This is the first video I've edited and produced on a new laptop computer. A little rough, but it's getting there.

Recorded with a Canon XA55 4KHD Pro video camera at 1920x1080 resolution. For outdoor shooting, it is equipped with an Azden SMX-10 High-Performance Stereo Condenser Microphone mounted inside a Rode Blimp Windshield on a Rycote Shock Mount Suspension System. A Neewer NW74K 7-Inch 1920x1080 Field Monitor is also used . All equipment is then mounted on a custom bar attached to a Canadian Studio Pro Heavy Duty 72" Tripod with an EI-717 Fluid Pan Head.
