⭐Episode 4: Your first manga should not be a series (or your magnum opus)
Change my mind, or try to! lol I was originally going to be talking about why starting out with a longer series is a bad idea along side my talk about the benefits of one-shots, but I decided to separate them. One-shots are a really great way to practice your skillset and prepare you for making a longer series.

It's easier to start with a shorter story to get your feet wet and really understand what a big commitment a manga is, especially if you want to work with a team versus alone. It's super easy to get overwhelmed, and you'll be able to save your brain power for the cool stuff you got cooking on the back burner for later.
