King Charles Queen Camilla State Visit to France Day 3 Bordeaux, with Equerry Lt.Col Jonny Thompson

Final and busiest day of the Tour, 22nd September 2023. The trip to Bordeaux was rather chaotic, as the French Police provided little media or crowd control, and probably were not expecting such large enthusiastic crowds. it was a scramble with all the live cameras and photographers. I didn't even include the visit to the Vineyard and Winery.
At the end of 3 days Their Majesties looked exhausted, I know I was just following the tour! However it was a hugely successful tour. The critics should remember the King goes where the Government and Foreign Office request him to.
Jonny did himself proud, and has become the King's closest Aide whom he can trust and rely on. We saw 2 Royal Regiment of Scotland Uniforms, his familiar 1A Ceremonial and 1A Mess Dress. I haven't even mentioned the shoes! Fingers crossed the King keeps Jonny for 2 more years as Equerry and we get to enjoy Royal watching with added interest and excitement. Korea has been invited for a State Visit in November.
