Some would say that batteries are batteries but we beg to differ!

We've all had those cheapo batteries that last no time at all and that's exactly what we were afraid of before we bought the Amazon Basics AAA 100 pack.

As usual, Amazon has done a good job at offering good value paired with a high quality product.

Here's a few things to know about the batteries BEFORE you make your purchase :

-10 year shelf life... Yes, you read that right. Let these batteries sit on the shelf in the garage for 10 years and you'll be just fine!

-Battery use time is similar to other brand of batteries so I think they are a good quality. We have had some batteries last for over a year in our TV remotes. But if your trying to power a jacuzzi then they probably aren’t going to last as long.

-We bought the value packs with 100 batteries last purchase because we seem to go through a lot of AAA’s with a child at home for all her toys and remotes and other small devices.

-These batteries are not rechargeable and are for single use.

-The battery's insulating ring protects against short circuiting and self discharging, whatever that means ;)

-They claim to be easy to open and we think they are! They arrive pre-packaged into groups of 5 so there isn't a huge mess when it comes to storing these batteries.

Finally, Amazon offers all the sizes you would expect including AA, AAA, D, C, AAAA, 9v (volt), C Cell and even lithium coin batteries..
