Probationary pump evolutions

2 of our firefighters took advantage of this beautiful Venice day to train some fundamentals on engine pumping and ladders. The training involved re-creating some of the stressors that would be found on the scene of a fire, so all resources were communicated through radio channels as well as a mock dispatch to the training incident. The crewmembers are some of the newer probationary firefighters in the department and were trained hard to keep skills sharp. This evolution was taught by todays Fill in officer/ firemedic.

Its always a great time to train!
