This challenge will consist of several videos. Because I suppose it’s better to split them rather than upload one but like an hour length.
Getting into things, let’s see the rules of this challenge:
I’m playing on a tactician difficulty;
The exploit with telekinesis and bottomless chests isn't allowed;
I use neither gift bags nor any other mods;
Only crafted weapons, armor, grenades, scrolls and potions are allowed;
I can buy nothing but crafting ingredients from merchants;
No starting skills except the racial ones
I will only use the skills crafted by myself
-The gifted skills like blessing are fine. Also, if one of the characters is an elf, he can get skills by eating corpses. There are not so many skills to get in these ways so I think it won't make the challenge very easy. I also think that the racial skills are OK because it’s already integrated like some passives.
There is a quite large list of craftable scrolls in the game. But at the same time there are no scrolls with warfare, scoundrel and huntsman skills. Also, not every skill of other schools has a scroll-written version.
Also, There are some things about craftable skill books to mention: Besides those skills which can be crafted by combining different skill books, we can craft skills by putting scrolls and related blank books together. For example, a fireball scroll plus a blank pyrokinetic book eventually gives us a “Fireball Skill Book” to learn and use.
But the weapons and armor have much fewer variants to craft. We can make all the types of weapons such as swords, bows, mage wands and so on. But as for armor, we can only craft the chest parts and shields. All this craftable stuff has low parameters and it depends on your level during crafting. It means I’ll have to make new gear with almost every level up.
So let’s get started with character creation. I chose a human race, set three attribute points into strength, because this guy would be sort of my swordsman. Since I couldn't learn skills in the beginning, I finished creation without it. I ended up with two points of warfare which would just increase physical damage. I know for sure that It would’ve been a much tougher challenge if I hadn’t taken a Lone Wolf talent, but I realized it shortly after.
