BARBLESS TANDEM HOOKS ON DEEPLINER SPY
One of my favorite jigs, the Deepliner spy is one of the staple jigs in our fishing group. In this video, I show the whole process of rigging the jig with barbless hooks. The Gamakatru Kamaitachi barbless hooks are heavy wire hooks that give you a lot of penetration because of the absence of a barb. The shape helps with accuracy and holding power. Despite not having a barb, I have lost very little fish with these hooks. I also have the extra sense of security when putting on more pressure with the heavy wire used on these hooks.
