ODONTOGENIC CYSTS - MANAGEMENT

➡️The marsupialization is a conservative technique used as curative treatment for the odontogenic cysts. Despite its disadvantages and controversies, the marsupialization remains an interesting therapeutic choice in the case of large cysts, or in very young or old patients.

➡️Enucleation is the most radical and definitive surgical modality for management of odontogenic cysts. The cyst is completely excised along with its lining and the wound allowed to heal by primary intention.
