Exploring Serene Wat Sangkhathan | Virtual Walking Tour | Nonthaburi, Thailand

Wat Sangkhathan is a temple in Nonthaburi, which is just outside of Bangkok, Thailand. A formerly abandoned temple, it was revitalized in the 1970s and has since become a popular temple because of its architecture and atmosphere.

Surrounded by nature, the temple grounds are cool and breezy with he sound of birds filling the air.

It's difficult to say which is the greater attraction, the ver unique all glass paneled Main Hall with its colorfully illuminated interior, or the hand carved wooden buildings found further back in the grounds. The hand carved woodwork depicts events in the life of Buddha as well as historic world events throughout history.
