Capable of charging two J1772 compatible EVs. Capable of 40A shared between the two J1772 output plugs. My installation will only be capable of 32A. My outlet is fed with 8/2 NM-B and a 40A OCPD. 8/2 NM-B is rated at 40A max per NEC due to the outer jacket’s temperature rating.
Unless I create a feed with 6/2 NM-B or 8awg thhn sized ungrounded conductors I am not capable of supplying this unit with the rated 50A OCPD.
