Chasing Fujin and Raijin through Lunatic Pandora Squall runs into a trap! Mobile Type 8 descends from above and attacks the Party.

Squall, Irvine and Rinoa are all Lv100.

Boss: Mobile Type 8
Lvl: 1 - 41
HP: 30,400 - 46,400
Weak Against: Thunder, Wind
Immune to: Earth

Although the Probes cannot be killed you can Mug useful Items from them (they're not really needed but they help).

Take note: When the Probes are attached to Mobile Type 8 they wont Counterattack but Mobile Type 8 will do so if attacked. When the Probes detach from Mobile Type 8 the Counterattacking works in reverse.

Cast Meltdown to reduce Mobile Type 8's Defense to 0, this will help when attacking it.
One of Mobile Type 8's Attacks reduces the Parties HP to 1 however this allows quick access to your Limit Breaks in turn resulting in Mobile Type 8's demise orchestrated by none other than itself.

You may also notice that if Mobile Type 8 lasts long enough it will use Mediddo Flame which is a powerful move used by the Super Boss Omega Weapon. However you may come to realise that Omega Weapon's version of the move is far superior to Mobile Type 8's version.
