Part Victorian Steampunk funk, part artist’s colony, part Ozark Mountain hillbilly. That’s Eureka Springs, Ark. Eureka Springs was also the hilltop town where we spent the first two days of our marriage (before heading off to Cancun.) Rhonda planned a surprise-destination trip to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. She managed to take me down a very “backroads” way into Arkansas and get me to the hotel’s entrance before I realized where I was going with her.
