This pesto is so delicious - it's savoury, herby, garlicy, with a touch of bright lemon. Pea pesto fits the usual basil pesto criteria, plus it has the addition of green peas to bulk it up, a little parsley for extra herb goodness and it’s dairy-free.

What is nutritional yeast?
It’s a savoury powder or flake that has a umami flavour that many describe as cheesy. It is NOT the same as yeast that you bake bread with - this is a deactivated yeast. Where I live you can find it in most grocery stores and health food stores.
