Join me for this adventure. I went to Theodore Roosevelt National Park and took what I figured were 8 really solid pictures. Well, I suspect they were very solid pictures, but I messed up the development process. I developed these images in the darkroom at Nostalgic Glass Wet Plate Studio where Shane Balkowitsch processes his wet plate images. I learned a hard lesson about safelights and how they react with collodion versus how they react with the Harman Direct Positive Paper. Follow me through the entire process here.
