I always had an issue with rain leaking through my tarp and not being fully waterproof. The last rain storm i was in, i was backpacking and got my gear got soaked because the rain leaked through the seams and fabric. I decided to apply some silicone spray i found at Walmart and left my tarp set up as if i would have set up on a trip for a week. I was rained on about 4 times and never leaked once and is now fully waterproof. I hope this video helps anyone that has the same issue i did, and finds that it is a good cheap way to make your shelter waterproof.
