I just got back home after an 10-day stay in Ukraine. Personally, it was one of the most important journeys I have ever taken in my life. However, I have been somewhat haunted by a sound I heard during my time there. I lay awake at night with this sound stuck in my head, all the time thinking about the people I met, the many emotions I felt while in Ukraine.

Many thanks to Lilia and Andriy, two very generous and sweet people who I met during my time in Ukraine. In this video, Lilia shows the aftermath of a Russian rocket attack on her neighbors' apartment building. Andriy gives some incredible, succinct insight into some of the realities of war against Ukrainians.
