2023 turned out to be an absolute nightmare production wise.
This was recorded throughout august 2023 (peak season for crickets). Whilst the bass was relatively straight forward to lay down and finish, over a hundred Crickets decided to make my life a misery. It meant i was still re-recording new crickets throughout september + october. Every single chirp is unique. The Supernova would produce a different chirp, every single time i pressed record on the same note. Or in other words for every single chirp you hear there's roughly another 1000 chirps which got deleted before it was correct.
NIGHTMARE.
