Multi-disciplinary artist Lindiwe Matshikiza was selected as one of three curators for Season 3 of The Centre For The Less Good Idea in April 2018. Within the framework of this experimental programme, Lindiwe developed her script Desert in collaboration with South African and Malagasy artists. Lindiwe's link with Malagasy artists was established during previous Pro Helvetia Johannesburg and ANT Mobility Funded projects and residencies. Here Lindiwe reflects on the evolution of this network of connections and collaborations.
