There have been many discussions on what toilet paper we should use in our RV’s. Number 1... the RV industry tells us we should only use “specially designed” toilet paper in our black holding tank that is usually way overpriced… and Number 2 we hear that any paper labeled septic safe is OK for use. In this episode I plan to get to the bottom of this challenge once and for all. I plan to wipe all misconceptions. We are going to squeeze out the truth! (OK, i see what you're doing).
I will be comparing 3 different TP brands and one “Flushable Wipe” in the (insert echoey voice here) ultimate challenge and determine what should and should not go down the drain.
I have been questioned about why I just used water and not use toilet chemical. The chemical is designed for oder control and to breakdown organic solids, human waste products, excrement, …. You know… Poop. Also, just like toilet paper, not all chemicals are created equal. I felt if the product can dissolve in water it should have no issue dissolving in whatever chemical you choose to use.
