Level 5 (Second Quest) Complete Walkthrough - The Legend of Zelda Second Quest 100% Walkthrough

This video shows how to beat Level 5 in the Second Quest as well as how to get everything in this Level (Well, almost everything. Technically I skip over a Small Key, but I'll talk more about that below). To see how to beat this Level while only getting the necessities, there is a video linked below that shows how. As with all dungeons in this game it's not a bad idea to have a potion on hand. Furthermore, if you have not already done so, I recommend that you get the White Sword & the Blue Ring. You can find videos showing the locations to these upgrades as well as the locations of all Bomb & Potion Shops linked down below.

Don't worry about killing Wizzrobes as you only need to kill them in 1 room. If needed you can use some bombs on those Wizzrobes, but you might wish to save some for the Manhandla found deeper in the level as well.

There is a key in this level that can only be reached with the Stepladder (2:52). You'll need to have 1 Small Key when you start or the Stepladder from Level 6 to get the aforementioned key. As I do not yet have the Stepladder, I've opted to get 1 Small Key prior to starting this Level. For completion purposes you can also see how to get that key in the video linked down below.

You'll need the Arrows in order to defeat Gohma. As a result you'll also want to make sure you have a Rupees to expend on those arrows. If you still need to get the Arrows then you can see how to get them in the video linked below.

Lastly, Like Likes start showing up in this Level so if you need to know where to rebuy the Magical Shield you can see where in a video linked down below as well.

Important things in this level:

Bow (1:18): Get to the room with the several Blue Wizzrobe, kill them all & push the center left blocks to the side in order to open the door. Ignore Gohma & go through the door. Go down the stairs to find the Bow.

Mini Boss - Gohma (2:10): Gohma can only be injured by an Arrow & only when it's eye isn't closed. It takes 3 successful hits to kill it. It's difficult to see in the video, but a Small Key is dropped when Gohma is defeated.

Map (3:05): Kill all of the Vire in the room to the left of the Like Like room to get the Map.

Compass (3:52): Kill all of the Zol in the room with the black background to get the Compass.

Manhandla (4:09): Take out Manhandla in whichever way you normally do.

Gleeok (4:45): This Gleeok has 3 heads. In total it takes 11 hits from the White Sword to kill it. 5 hits to sever the 1st head, 3 for the 2nd, & 3 more hits to defeat.
