How to Put in 9-Piece Clip-in Hair Extensions - ZALA

This video demonstrates how to put in 9-piece clip-in hair extensions for medium-thick hair. We’re applying these extensions to model Lily's hair. Lily hair is medium thickness, so we've chosen to apply the full 9-piece set to balance with the thickness of her natural hair.

The ZALA 9-piece set is specifically designed for ladies with medium to thick hair and is a super high quality hair, triple wefted and double drawn for absolute luxury! For this video, we are using a quad weft 9-piece 20-inch set in Honey Beach Highlights #18/613.

⇒ The steps: How to put in 9-piece hair extensions

To apply these wefts, start by segmenting your hair and clipping it out of the way; roughly at the top of your head. Next, pop open the 3-clip piece and put in the extension by first locking in the centre clip, followed by the outer clips. Repeat the same process with the second 3-clip piece just above the part of your head where you put in the first extension.

In the next three steps, apply two 5-clip pieces at the widest area of your head, followed by a 3-clip piece. The steps for the application of these pieces are the same as explained for the first two extensions. Be sure to start with the centre clip for each piece, followed by the outer clips.

Next, segment and clip your hair along the sides of your head and apply a 2-clip piece. Repeat the same step once again with a 2-clip piece on the same side of your hair, just above where you applied the first 2-clip piece. Follow the same two steps on the other side of your head with two 2-clip extensions.
