President Trump warned the US is ready to intervene in Iran shoots protestors as demonstrations are sweeping the Middle-Eastern country.

In a message on Truth Social the President said: "If Iran shots and violently kills peaceful protesters, which is their custom, the United States of America will come to their rescue. We are locked and loaded and ready to go. Thank you for your attention to this matter!”

The threat of US intervention comes after reports that six people have been killed in Iran and demonstrations across the country enter their fifth day.
