✨ Aloo Cheese Naan Bombs 🧀🥔

Here’s how you make this at home 😊

Ingredients :
Naan Dough
Maida - 1 Cup
Sugar - 1/2 teaspoon
Baking Powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Baking Soda - 1/8th teaspoon
Salt - 1/4th teaspoon
Ghee - 1.5 Tablespoons
Curd - 2 Tablespoons
Lukewarm Water - as needed
Kalonji Seeds - garnish

Aloo Masala
Potatoes - 3 Medium (Boiled & Roughly Mashed)
Oil - 1/2 tablespoon
Cumin Seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
Carom Seeds/ Ajwain - 1/2 teaspoon
Ginger - 1/4th inch (Grated)
Green Chilli - 2 nos
Coriander Powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Red Chilly Powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Amchur Powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Garam Masala - 1/2 teaspoon
Salt & Pepper - to taste
Sugar - a pinch
Lime Juice - 1/2 tablespoon
Fresh Coriander - 1 tablespoon
Fresh Mint - 1 tablespoon
Shredded Cheese - 1/4th Cup (I’ve used a blend of mozzarella & processed cheese)

Process :
To make the Naan Dough - mix flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, baking soda & 1.5 Tbsp of ghee together
Add in the curd & start kneading the dough
Bring the dough together by adding lukewarm water as required (It should be a soft dough)
Knead the dough for a couple of minutes until smooth - Cover it with a damp cloth & let it rest for atleast 20 minutes
To make this filling - add in some cumin seeds, roughly crushed ajwain in hot oil, once the crackle add in the ginger, green chillies & all the powdered spices
Next,add in the boiled mashed potatoes - season them with salt, pepper & a pinch of sugar, add in some lime juice & finish with some finely chopped fresh mint & coriander leaves
Mix the masala potatoes well & keep them aside for later
Pre-heat the oven at 180C
To assemble the Naan Bombs - take a small portion of the dough, roll it out thinly, add some cheese in the centre of the dough & top it up with a spoonful of the masala potato filling
Seal the stuffed dough ball, pinch it to remove excess dough & shape it using your hand or a flat surface

Line a baking tray with parchment paper, place the naan bombs on it & generously brush them with melted ghee & top with some kalonji seeds
Bake them for 12-15 minutes in a pre-heated oven - rotate the tray once during baking for even browning
Once golden brown, take it out of the oven, generally baste with some melted ghee & garnish with some chopped coriander leaves
Serve hot alongside some fresh Mint Chutney & Enjoy ✨🌶
