On August 9th, 2009, international phenomenon Shark Tank debuted on American television. Based on its Canadian counterpart “Dragon’s Den,” Shark Tank sees business owners pitch to a cast of surly, prospective investors. However, the most notable aspect of the program was the budding romance between two of them: the sweet, maternal Barbara Corcoran and the dastardly, money grubbing Kevin O’Leary (also known as Mr. Wonderful). Star-crossed lovers, on the surface they seem like an unlikely pair. However, love works in mysterious ways. :-)
