'TEZ FILAM' marks Ab 17's debut EP with Indian hip-hop mainstay Sez On The Beat. "Bheed mein se alag nikalke aage badhne ke liye tez banna padhta hai, nahi toh kuch farak nahi padne wala hai" says Ab 17. The project reflects the duality of loving his hood because it's made him who he is, but also dealing with its toxicity which he witnesses on the regular. In terms of sound, Sez says, "I matched his street talk with blazing yet soothing 808s and a vibrant soundscape which stays cohesive throughout the EP. It’s a new-school fresh sound for New Delhi, the side you haven’t explored or seen". Jealousy & hate are always surrounding you when you are trying to come up and get out, but at the end of the day, spreading love is the broader vision for Ab 17.
