Women BANNED from University?

Women BANNED from University in Afghanistan 🇦🇫

The Minister of higher education stated the following reasons for the ban:

mixing of genders
inappropriate clothing
studying inappropriate subjects

Although the ban seems to be temporary, the rationale seems to be kind of weak and there are solutions for these perceived issues that do not necessitate a ban.

With that being said, let’s not forget that Afghanistan is in the situation it is in due to a 20 year illegal occupation, so the West can take it easy on their perceived moral superiority. Further more, the Western sanctions on the Taliban and Afghanistan is doing more harm than good to Afghanistan as a whole. The West doesn’t really care about Afghans as evidenced by their actions over the last few decades.
