Quick step by step overview of the process (or click the time stamp below to take you to a specific section)
1.) Cut the following out of your materials:
(2) exterior main panels in clear vinyl
(2) exterior accents ON THE FOLD along the bottom edge (while folded, cut a 1 1/2"w x 1"h rectangle out of each bottom corner)
(1) exterior slip pocket (do NOT cut on the fold)
(3) binding strips of WPC 1"w x 16"h
(2) binding strips 1"w x 4"h
(1) zipper tab in WPC 1 1/4"w x 1"h
(1) 16" #5 zipper and pull
(2) cuts of 1"w webbing each 51" long (or to your preferred length)
2.) Add the binding strip along the top edge of the exterior slip pocket and baste in place along the bottom edge of the back exterior main panel.
3.) Measure in 4 3/4" in from each edge of the exterior main panels and lay the edge of the webbing looped at these markings. Sew in place, stopping 1 1/2" from the top of the exterior main panel to sew the X boxes.
4.) Attach the exterior accent to the bottom of the front and back exterior main pieces
5.) Prep and install the zipper closure
6.) Sew up both side seams and add the binding strips
7.) Sew the boxed corners and add the last 2 binding strips
8.) Turn bag right side out and finger press the side seams really well and done!
