In this video, I take a trip down to the Kaikōura Museum to check out an incredible new collection of moa bones donated by the Seddon family. These bones have been radiocarbon dated to around 1400 years old, long before humans ever settled in New Zealand/Aotearoa! The bones come from three different species of moa, with the largest one towering at an impressive 11 feet tall and weighing 250kg.

I stayed in a pretty quirky spot, where I had some fun feeding the animals. After that, I made a quick stop to hunt for fossils and was lucky enough to find a fantastic one that needed some repairs—watch me fix it up at the end of the video!
