Trying the Vintage Negroni made out of 1970's Campari, Gin and Sweet Vermouth for the first time to see if the vintage spirit trend is living up the the hype.

I actually shot this with the intention of posting it as an Instagram Reel, but I ended up geeking out so much that it turned into a ten-minute video. So I decided to share it here on YouTube—even if it’s vertical.

I don’t often share tasting videos or first impressions of products, mostly because I feel like my spontaneity is a bit introverted, and I’m never sure if it makes for good content. That said, I started collecting vintage bottles when I moved from Canada to Europe three and a half years ago, and I absolutely love it. I don’t always open the bottles, but in this case, I just couldn’t resist.
Also, special shout-out to Vintage Cocktails Club for generously sending me this bottle of Campari. I’m not sure I would’ve paid what it’s worth without knowing how good it was—though I’d always been tempted. Now that I’ve tried it, I can say this: I won’t hesitate to buy another one when this bottle’s gone.
