In July, Summer 2022, we did an 8-day self-support whitewater kayaking trip in Canada, BC/Yukon on the Kusawa River. We flew into Whitehorse, Yukon from Portland, Oregon. Then took a float plane into Goodwin Lake, a remote glacier lake, and paddled 50 miles of the Kusawa River to Kusawa lake. It was a wild trip with a handful of big portages, large rapids, and epic scenery. Only a few groups have ever ventured down this section of river. A truly wild and remote place.
