I spent years mega-dosing dosing lorazepam. Twenty to forty milligrams per day. Tolerance withdrawal between doses. Buying benzos from pharmacies without a prescription in Thailand. The chaos nearly destroyed me. I know what it feels like when you think you cannot go on any longer. When nothing feels real. When you want it all to end.

Slow, mindful breathing is the most powerful tool you have right now.
Breathe slowly through your nose.
Hold it.
Slowly out through your mouth.
This calms your central nervous system.
Your nervous system is in permanent freeze mode during benzo taper.

Deep breathing makes everything more bearable.
Create a simple daily routine.
Practice self-care.
Hug yourself.
Tell yourself you are safe.
Limit your phone use.
Watch calming content on YouTube.
Do not sit glued to your telephone scrolling through social media.
The chaos in your mind is chemical imbalances from tapering or withdrawal. It will pass. It will ease. You will get through this.

Keep fighting every single day. There are no positive benzo recovery stories online. Just sadness and despair. I searched when I was going through my taper. I found nothing hopeful. That is why I make these videos. To show you there is a way through.
