"Icy Night's Awakening" 2 Ambient Berlin School Improvised Sessions, Cinematic - 26.04.24/ 27.04.24

2 impromptu improvised sessions which I deemed as dissapointing when I played them. I wasn't feeling my mojo so much, or perhaps I had some expectations in mind which skewed my perception of the sessions. Anyway, on revisiting both sessions I felt that they did indeed have something to say after all. It wasn't exactly what I wanted to say, but it was nevertheless interesting.
For this video I decided to combine both sessions, one was recorded in the evening and one during the day, so there is a visual contrast, and perhaps some musical contrast also.
I once again had a random Haiku poem in my unconscious, which also informed the scales I used:

Water jar cracks
An icy night's
Awakening

More melancholia perhaps..
