Uniswap is an Ethereum based decentralized exchange (DEX) where you can earn passive income by staking your crypto and becoming a liquidity provider. Liquidity providers on Uniswap earn 0.3% of all the trading fees on the platform.

There are 2 versions: V2 and V3. In V2, you’ll experience the typical process of adding liquidity wherein all liquidity providers are staking with the same trading fees and taking the same risks with price changes.

On V3, LPs (liquidity providers) can choose the trading fee and price range that they are willing to take. Uniswap claims that V3 has higher returns on capital and lower-slippage can both be compelling advantages.
