Best $200 3d Printer: Monoprice Select Mini vs Mini Delta

Описание к видео Best $200 3d Printer: Monoprice Select Mini vs Mini Delta

Monoprice offers two fully assembled entry-level 3d Printers. The Monoprice Mini Delta and the Monoprice Select Mini both available for under $200. While these printers ship with an older copy of Cura on the SDcard, it is windows only, and experience has taught me that for new users the process of slicing a model, load it on an SDcard, and then printing is a bit challenging. I am continually looking for an alternative.

In this video, I evaluate both of these printers and specifically using them with MatterHackers MatterControl software. This solution fully supports connecting a printer over a USB cable to a PC or MAC and printing with complete control. In this comparison, one of the two printers quickly raises to the top.

The techniques demonstrated with MatterControl work equally well with the entry-level Creality printers such as the Creality Ender 3, Ender 3 Pro and Ender 5.

If you are in the market for your first 3d printer for yourself or a child, grandparent or friend, this is a must-watch video.
