Today, we focus on deploying a patch released by Microsoft on Sept 25, 2025, Cumulative Update Preview for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5066198)

Go to Settings - About - Windows Specifications and check if your system is a Windows 10 22H2 system version less than 19045.6396

Manual Patch deployment

You can download the patch from Patch Astra, just search for “KB5066198” and download the patch for your system. Alternatively, you can download the patch directly from the Microsoft catalog website.
Once the patch file is downloaded on your target machine, go ahead and double-click on the .msu package. Since this update is .msu based update, this action will open “Windows Update Standalone Installer”, now you just have to proceed and install the patch on your system.
Restart your system to complete the installation.
