This is not the AR7 magazine, although it looks the same.

Hi guys, today I wanna talk about the fake magazine of Henry AR-7.
Things start here.

Recently, I bought a bulk of 22lr ammo, it’s CCI blazer 38gr which lighter than I used before, I mean, the Remington thunderbolt. I want to try how feeling is this new ammo and curiouse about which one is better, so I take GSG15 and Henry AR7 to range.

Actually, CCI blazer is not good for GSG 15 but nice to AR7. When there’s nearly 10 times jam in GSG15’s 22rds of a magazine, AR7 can shot 8rds of a magazine very smoothly.

But, when I use this magazine,everything goes wrong.

We know there’s two original magazines coming with new Henry AR7, but we can take three in one box, so I decided to buy a spare one. Gun shop brother recommended me these two babies so I bought them both. They looks really the same but actually they are not.

These two magazines, they can reload 22lr the same, they can fix the AR7’s magazine socket, one of them is the same as original, but the other is totally fake of AR7. It can use very well for some gun I don’t know, but it’s not good for AR7. When you use this fake one, jam nearly happens on every round.

What’s different in them? In my opinion, it’s the spring holder. There’s no spring holder on fake one, so when receiver push round forward, the round would roll at the feed path, and jam happen.

Sorry that I’m not sure is this true or false, just my speculation. And sorry I haven’t shot those jam on camera, it’s so hard to shoot video while solving those jam.
