It was a grand and spectacular success with teams of junior and senior students from several reputed schools dressed in traditional Dandiya Raas and Garba attire with colourful dandiya sticks.

The guests praised the spectacular colourful display of costume, jewellery and dandiya sticks against the backdrop of dandiya beats and rhythm. They remarked upon the synchronization and coordination among students in their dance movements. The star attraction of the evening was the singing sensation Ankita Mishra, of Indian Idol fame, who took the audience by storm with her fabulous music and songs. Children and grownups alike danced gracefully and enthusiastically with devotional fervor in these Navaratri festivities. Apart from the dance floor, there were food stalls serving delicious items. The decoration with flowers, rangoli and electric lights took away one’s breath.
