EP01: Hyderabad to Pune I 570 KM in 12 Hours I Family road trip in Kia Sonet I Pune trip 2024

Join us on an exciting family road trip from Hyderabad to Pune, covering a distance of 570 km in our Kia Sonet! This journey took us approximately 12 hours, filled with scenic views, delicious food, and unexpected adventures.

Our family, consisting of 2 adults and our 7-year-old, started the day bright and early with a delicious South Indian breakfast at Udupi Uphar near Sangareddy, right next to the COCO BP pump. The food was the perfect fuel to kickstart our long drive from Hyderabad to Pune.

As we drove along NH 65, we passed through various towns including Patancheru, Sangareddy, Sadashivpet, and Zaheerabad. We soon crossed the border into Karnataka, where we made a quick stop to fuel up with the cheapest diesel on our route from Hyderabad to Pune.

Entering Maharashtra near Omerga, we headed towards Naldurg. Here, we encountered traffic cops who asked us to produce our documents. Naldurg surprised us with its beautiful dam and historic fort, adding a touch of exploration to our Hyderabad to Pune journey.

Continuing our drive, we reached Sholapur and took a quick break on the highway to enjoy some delicious mangoes we had brought from home. However, our leisurely stop was cut short by a sudden downpour, and we had to pack up quickly and rush back to the car.

The last stretch of our road trip from Hyderabad to Pune was quite challenging as it took almost 3 hours to cover the final 50 km due to Pune's horrible traffic. But we finally reached our destination, IBIS Hinjewadi, exhausted but happy. After checking in, we enjoyed a hearty dinner and had a good night's sleep.
