1)Sanjay Srinivas (34) a tourist from Bangalore, died in waters off Baina coast while engaging in water sports activities. The cause of death is unknown and police investigation is on. As per information, Srinivas and his family were allegedly lured from Nerul in guise of showing island.

2) Vasco police has registered an offence under sections 420 r/w 34 IPC against Govind Manjrekar and Suraj Naik , both residents of Vasco for allegedly cheating one Sakshi Kerkar of New Vaddem to the tune of Rs 4.3 Lakhs on the pretext of providing government job in Education department. Vasco police has registered an offence and are on the look out for the accused.

3) Minister Vishwajit Rane has said he will request the director general of police and the cyber crime cell to question Congress leader Amit Patkar about the allegations he made about the cash-for-government jobs scam. Goa Congress chief Patkar had shown forged appointment and offer letters given to aspirants for jobs in the urban development, town and country planning and health departments, all of which are part of Rane's portfolio.

4) Goa government has ended 40 year old lease with Goa Dairy to run a modern cattle feed plant. The lease ended this year with government showing no intention to renew. Set up in 1984, the plant is now handed over to Animal and Husbandry department. The Termination order also mentioned that the liabilities of Rs.12.19 crores of feed plant shall be settled by the Goa Dairy to the Suppliers of raw materials in time bound manner.

5) United Tribal Association Alliance (UTAA) has submitted a 12 point letter with demands to Chief Minister Pramod Sawant. UTAA has demanded political reservation for ST before 2027 assembly polls, direct recruitment promotions to fill up backlog vacancies and ban on sale of ST land to persons outside community among other demands.

6) Entrepreneur Ramanuj Mukherjee, whose recent social media post on Goa's tourism trends sparked significant debate, appealed to Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Sunday to fix the issues that are impacting the flow of foreign tourists to the coastal state.
