Today we are reviewing the new 200 (actually 201 markers, 200 colors plus a clear blender) marker set from Ohuhu. https://amzn.to/2ugz2Np I have been using the classic Ohuhu Markers for about 2 years now and they don't disappoint. These are some of the least expensive alcohol-based art markers on the market today coming in at about 50 cents per marker no matter what size set you buy.

Here is a link to the video explaining how I make my swatches and pick blending color families:    • Use This Trick for Better Marker Blen...

The Ohuhu Classic sets feature a bullet and chisel tip, an oval body similar to Copic Sketch and accurate color chips on each end. The markers have numbers (no color names) on the caps but not on the body so be careful to cap them with the right caps. The quality of markers is the same across all of the Ohuhu bullet/chisel classic line. Here are the updates in the 200 set:

*Storage case had a divided insert that helps you organize markers. It also keeps them from falling over in the case if you have a bunch of markers out of the bad.
*An expanded range of pale tones, especially in the purple/violet/plum range and Earth-tone/skin tone range as well as yellow greys, blue-greys and green greys that can help shade and lighten some of the brighter colors.
*A soft vinyl protection sheet for under your artwork.

Pros & Cons for Ohuhu Classic markers
Pros:
*Caps match ink color well
*Good blending ability
*Great range of colors
*Caps are easy to remove
*Markers resist drying out
*Low price
*Oval barrel is comfortable to hold

Cons:
*No refill ink or nibs available (but I think the Shinhan Touch inks will match)
*Colors duplicate between sets meaning the colors in the smaller sets are in the larger set so it is best to purchase the set that has all of the colors you want.

*note, there were coupons and specials on some of these sets and Prime members might get a lower price.

Ohuhu also has brush/chisel markers if you prefer in the following assortments. These brush marker run around $1 per marker due to the added expense of the brush nib. The brush nib is reversible so if it frays simply flip it around for a fresh point. Keep in mind these have a round barrel and the numbering system is different from the classic Ohuhu markers but they are lovely.
