Here the 4º CICLO NORDESTINO for piano in four parts: 1. CABOCLINHOS; 2. CANTILENA; 3. MARACATU; 4. PONTEADO; 5. FREVO. In his CICLO NORDESTINO Nº 4, Nobre revisits his early influences following the path begun with his first cycle in 1960, and is inspired by northeastern Brazilin music of the Carnival of Recife.However if in the previous three cycles Nobre purposely limited the technical difficulties, the fourth cycle can be considered a really concert piece, requiring a pianist with complete control of the instrument. Recorded by Clelia Iruzun on the CD "Marlos Nobre Piano Music" launched in 2012 by LORELT London.
